Refrigeration Removal and Replacement Procedures

Evaporator

1 Remove front panel.

2 Remove evaporator cover.

3 Remove right side panel.

4 Remove top panel.

5 If the machine was in operation, push and release the Harvest button to warm up the

evaporator.

6 Disconnect electrical power.

7 Remove harvest assist solenoid

8 Recover refrigerant.

9 Remove curtain

10 Remove water distributor

11 Release ice thickness sensor

12 Remove water distributor bracket from the top of the evaporator

13 Connect nitrogen bottle to discharge access port. Open both access valves.

14 Open nitrogen valve

15 Unsweat the inlet and outlet refrigerant tubes. Use caution when heating the tubing, do

not damage the freezing compartment walls.

16 Shut nitrogen valve.

Disconnect electrical

power before beginning.
